The assessment roll has been prepared as required by law and is on file and open to inspection at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 525 N. Third Avenue, Pasco, Washington. NOTICE FURTHER IS GIVEN that the City Council of the City has fixed the time for the hearing upon the final assessment roll for 7:00 p.m., local time, on March 3, 2025, in the Council Chambers in the Pasco City Hall, 525 N. Third Avenue, Pasco, Washington. Any person desiring to object to any assessment appearing on the final assessment roll for the District is notified to make all objections in writing and to file them with the City Clerk on or before the date fixed for the hearing on the final assessment roll. All objections must state clearly the grounds of the objections and shall contain lot, block and addition, section, tax number, or other identifying description of the property. At the time and place fixed, and at such other times to which the hearing may be adjourned, the City Council will sit as a board of equalization for the purpose of considering objections duly filed, together with all information and evidence in support of those objections, and for the purpose of considering such assessment roll. At the hearing, or continuation thereof, the City Council may correct, revise, raise, lower, change or modify the roll or any part thereof, or set aside the roll and order a new assessment. Following the hearing, the City Council will confirm the assessment roll by ordinance. Notices were signed and assembled and mailed to the benefitting/assessed property owners via U.S. mail on February 10, 2025, using the mailing addresses shown and verified on the tax rolls listed with the Franklin County Treasurer. Included in each notice packet were the following items:  Individualized notice letter listing the parcel owned by the addressee along with the date, time, and location of the Final Assessment Roll Public Hearing, and information regarding the process.  Table showing the complete assessment roll for LID 152 To ensure the accuracy of the notices, each letter was independanly checked by two people. Parcel numbers, assessment amounts, and mailing addresses were all confirmed; with the addresses being verified by two people on 2/6/2025. The City has taken every reasonable step to provide an accurate, up to date assessment by the day that notice is required by law to be given (RCW 35.44.090).
