City of Pasco Historic Preservation Commission was call to order by Chair Dan Stafford.
ROLL CALL
Commissioners Present: Marilynn Baker, and Devi Tate; there was not a quorum.
Commissioners Excused: Dan Stafford, and Malin Bergstrom
Staff Present: Associate Planner Jeff Adams, Public Works CIP Manager Ryan Mahaffey and
Carmen Patrick, Administrative Assistant II
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Historic Preservation Commission Meeting minutes of June 4, 2024, not approved, no quorum.
UNFINSHIED BUSINESS
None
PUBLIC HEARINGS
None
WORSHOP
A. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Renovation and Expansion
Public Works CIP Manager Ryan Mahaffey came to present and update the Commission
regarding the current status of the Community Center.
He discussed the outcome of the outreach once again and they will be doing more.
Mr. Mahaffey presented that the 3 options being discussed at this time are still:
1. Renovation and Expansion
2. Partial Demolition, Renovation and Expansion
3. Total Demolition and New Construction

Commissioner Baker adjourned the meeting at 5:00 pm.
