CALL TO ORDER
City of Pasco Historic Preservation Commission was call to order by Chair Dan Stafford.
ROLL CALL
Commissioners Present: Dan Stafford, Marilynn Baker, and Devi Tate; a quorum was declared.
Commissioners Excused: Malin Bergstrom
Staff Present: Associate Planner Jeff Adams, Public Works Senior Engineer Brittany Whitfield,
and Carmen Patrick, Administrative Assistant II
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Baker moved to approve the Historic Preservation Commission Meeting minutes of
March 5, 2024; Commissioner Tate seconded; the motion carried unanimously.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
None
WORSHOP
A. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Renovation and Expansion
Brittany Whitfield came to present and update the Commission with the current status of the
Community Center. She stated all the outreach events went well and were focused on the
current users. She shared the recommendations regarding the design with the commission and
will get the list of recommendations to Jeff so the Commission can further discuss what their
recommendation to the City Council will be.
Schematics (concept site plan, floor plan layout, and elevations) need to be 100% by July.
OTHER BUSINESS
A. Lewis Street Underpass Photo Documentation Project
Commissioner Baker requested Staff find the Lewis Street Overpass Construction
Agreement and identify the language (if any) in specifying the disposition of the time -
stamped end rails.
ADJOURNMENT
Chair Stafford stated with no other business, I adjourn the meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 5:36 pm.
