To whom it may concern:
I met John Cloud a few years back. I was sitting at a Vinny's bakery and this crazy looking unkempt man
walked in and eventually struck up a conversation with me. Ile was sick, homeless and I thought he was
crazy. The toll that substance abuse had taken on his life was evident.
Fast forward to about a year ago, when I met John for the 2nd time. John was looking to make a change
in his life. While he was still struggling, I saw a new resolve in John. I was warned that this was his
M.O.—pretend to make a change, make friends with someone with some influence, get an opportunity
to earn an income and then fall off the horse somewhere along the way with empty promises and
unfulfilled potential. I was incredibly skeptical of the change I saw in John, and told him as much.
However, I've seen a huge change over the past year that has left me impressed by John's willingness to
take direction, work hard and as a result, I've seen him make tremendous progress.
John now works hard to sell Tribotex, a nano -particle product that helps cars get better gas mileage. He
works to help keep our downtown clean by sweeping and picking up trash for local merchants and at the
farmer's market. He has begun to maintain his personal hygiene, keep his clothes clean, and is making
progress towards becoming a productive and contributing member to society. John is on track to
realizing his potential and he has become an important icon in downtown and a powerful symbol of the
transformation that is happening on a macro level in the community. He is a positive example to other
homeless members of our downtown community, and as a result, we've noticed an uptick in the
willingness of other members of that community to contribute here in downtown. We're grateful for
John's new life and the contributions he's making to our community.
Sincerely,

it may concern,
John Cloud has made a concerted effort to improve his situation and
deal with his problems. Within the last year, I have seen him turn his
life around to become a productive member of our community. His
new business requires him to meet deadlines, learn about
presentation and stay focused on his clientele.
I would like to see him take even more responsibility for his life
direction and continue to lift himself up. His newfound positive
attitude will help him deal with setbacks in life and brace for the
structure one needs to obtain success.

RE: John Cloud
I first met John (although I didn't know who he was at the time) several months ago when a
bedraggled looking homeless man approached me outside our business in downtown Pasco.
He asked me if we had any odd jobs which we needed done outside our business to clean up
the storefront or wash a few windows. I dismissed him immediately because we had
encountered homeless people in the past who made similar offers and had not followed
through on their commitments.
A few months later, a man came into our shop and started to discuss a new product which he
was excitedly promoting. After sharing the attributes of the product, the man offered that
we had met before; he shared with me that the last time we had met he had a long grey
beard which was chest length and hair which was long and grey. I was shocked at the
transformation I saw.
In getting to know John better, I am impressed with his intelligence, his commitment to
staying "clean and sober" and his faith in God. He volunteers in downtown Pasco and is an
outstanding example to other less fortunate of the transitions that can be made during
difficult times.
I believe that John's future will be bright as he continues down his new pathway and that his
contributions will serve as a benefit to the health and vitality of our community. I wish him
well in his new endeavor with TriboTex and with getting his future secured.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
My name is Nicolas Zavala; my wife Gloria Zavala and I own an insurance business and
a clothing business in downtown Pasco.
For the last two years I have known John Cloud, he is usually around our establishments
offering his services to clean our streets or any other jobs that help him with his
expenditures. In spite of his homelessness, he keeps up a great spirit, reminds us of the
good things in life, helps us keep downtown Pasco clean, and lightens our spirit with his
harmonica and guitar.
I would be glad to see John given an opportunity to have a house, or his house back as he
mentions. I wish him and his family the best of life and I would be willing to help within
the limits of my possibilities.
Please call me at (509) 627-0999 with any questions you might have.
