A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING WORK PERFORMED BY BIG D'S CONSTRUCTION, INC.
UNDER CONTR.ACT FOR THE SANDIFUR PARKWAY WIDENING (ROAD
52 TO ROAD 60) PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the work performed by Big D's Construction, Inc. under contract for the
Sandifur Parkway Widening (Road 52 to Road 60) project, has been examined by City of Pasco
staff and has been found to be in apparent compliance with the applicable project specifications
and drawings; and
WHEREAS, it is the City Staffls recommendation that the City of Pasco formally accepts
the contractor's work and the project as complete.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO,WASHINGTON:
That the City Council concurs with the Staffls recommendation and thereby accepts the
work performed by Big D's Construction, Inc.under contract for the Sandifur Parkway Widening
(Road 52 to Road 60) project, as being completed in apparent compliance with the project
specifications and drawings; and
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Washington
State Department of Revenue of this acceptance; and
Be It Further Resolved, that the final payment of retainage being withheld pursuant to
applicable laws, regulations and administrative determination shall be released upon satisfaction
of same and verification thereof by the Public Works Director and Finance Director.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco,Washington, on this 20th day of March,
2023.
