A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON, AWARDING BID NO. 21237A, THE WASTEWATER
TREAMENT PLANT (WWTP) IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 2A PROJECT, TO
APOLLO, INC. OF KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON; AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZE THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS,the City of Pasco has an identified capital improvement public works project
described as the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements Phase 2A Project; and
WHEREAS, the City solicited sealed public bids for this capital improvement public
works project, identified as Bid No. 21237A, WWTP Improvements Phase 2A Project beginning
January 3, 2023; and
WHEREAS,on February 28,2023, at 2:00 p.m., six(6)bids were received and opened by
the City; and
WHEREAS,the low bid was from Apollo,Inc. of Kennewick,Washington,in the amount
of$13,996,917.00, including Washington State Sales Tax, and the Engineer's Construction Cost
Estimate was $19,273,122.00; and
WHEREAS,the bid documentations were reviewed,and the lowest bidder was determined
to be responsible and responsive.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PASCO, WASHINGTON:
That the City awards the construction contract for Bid No.21237A,WWTP Improvements
Phase 2A, to Apollo, Inc. of Kennewick,Washington, in the amount of$13,996,917.00,including
Washington State Sales Tax and further authorizes the City Manager to execute the contract
documents; and
Be It Further Resolved that this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force
immediately upon passage by the City Council.
