Registered Pasco voters will decide whether to
increase sales tax by 0.2% on taxable goods and
services purchased in the City of Pasco. This
revenue will be directed to the PPFD for the
design, construction, operation, and maintenance
of the Aquatic Facility.

PROPOSITION NO. 1:
0.2% SALES & USE TAX FOR AQUATICS FACILITY AND
COMPETITION POOL
Taxable retail sales means goods and services, such as buying
household wares or getting your car’s oil changed. Food,
prescription drugs, and other items are exempt

HOW WILL THE ADDITIONAL TAX BE APPLIED?
A 0.2% sales tax on each dollar that someone spends on
taxable retail goods or services in Pasco would mean an
additional: $0.02 on a $10 purchase
$0.20 on a $100 purchase
$2 on a $1,000 purchase
The sales tax will pay for the construction, operation and
maintenance of the aquatic facility and competition pool.
Anyone purchasing (visitor & resident) goods or services in
Pasco will contribute to the use and sales tax

Facilities District (PPFD) is to fund,
construct, and operate public facilities
within the City of Pasco.
THE PROPOSAL
The facility is planned to
include an indoor/outdoor
water park in the first phase
and a competition pool in the
second phase, subject to
